Join us for a bus trip to nearby Newport
Our bus trip starts with a 10AM departure from the hotel with a drop-off in Newport on Bowen's Wharf on Thames Street for shopping and lunch on your own.

We reboard the bus at 2:15 for our scenic guided tour around Ocean Drive and Brenton Point State Park and with stops for views and picture taking

We'll arrive at the Breakers around 3:15 for a self guided tour and head back to the hotel at 5:15, arriving at 6
Our free time on Bowen's Wharf on Thames Street in Newport, where you can choose from a number of great restaurants and plenty of interesting shops on Newport Harbor
After lunch we board the bus for a guided tour of the beautiful rocky coast of Ocean Drive, which is dotted with mansion estates and includes Brenton Point State park, a favorite for viewing the coast, fishing and flying massive kites.
The beautiful rocky coast leads to Bellevue Ave, where most of the mansions of the Gilded Age are located. We will have a tour of the Breakers, one of the most extravagant of these "summer Cottages", with its sweeping view of Narragansett Bay.
